Day One: Transfer to Palm Cove, check into Boutique Collection Beach Club

The Beach Club & Spa is lavish 5 star resort overlooking massive age-old Melaleuca trees through to the golden shores of Palm Cove Beach,  perfectly captures the leisurely tropical lifestyle that makes a holiday in the tropics. A sophisticated resort which is a delight for all those who are lucky enough to stay.  Included in your stay is accommodation in a Spa Room.  Spa rooms feature a king size bed, tea / coffee making facilities and feature a spa bath with stunning views out to the tropical gardens or lagoon pool. 

Resort facilities include three swimming pools featuring a unique lagoon swimming pool with swim-up bar and sandy beach, a rainforest lagoon pool and a formal pool.

Day Two: Reef Experience 

Commence boarding at 7:30am, at the Marlin Jetty in Cairns for a BBQ breakfast. Cruise to the Great Barrier Reef, to spend 6 full hours snorkelling, scuba diving, swimming & visiting 2 spectacular reef locations. Come face to face with schools of tropical reef fish & amazing spectacular coral formations.

Let the friendly, highly trained scuba dive instructors & crew show you the underwater world of the Great Barrier Reef on an introductory scuba dive or certified scuba diving. The glass bottom boat departs regularly for coral & marine life viewing.

The 2nd location, Breaking Patches, is renowned for it's forest staghorn coral, large sea fans & black coral trees, yielding some 400 species of coral, & a vertical wall teaming with marine life.

Cruising back to Cairns at Dolphin speed so keep an eye out for our dolphins as they surf along side most days, sit back, relax or socialise with new friends with a cold drink from the bar, on the spacious sundeck. View the days video and watch the sun go down on one of the seven natural wonders of the world as you enjoy complimentary wine, cheese & tropical fruits.

About the Intro Dive:
The Reef Experience Tour includes an optional snorkell tour, intro or cretified dive. Introductory diving requires no previous diving experience. If you are able to swim, you can usually dive. You will be asked to fill out some paperwork, including a medical statement.

Whilst you are on your way to the reef you will be given a briefing outlining what is involved (usually about 45 minutes). This briefing will outline the procedures that will make your experience a safe and unforgettable one.

On arrival at the reef, you will start by practising with your equipment on the surface. Once you and your instructor are comfortable with those skills, you practice them again, this time below the surface (only a few feet).

Finally when you and your instructor feel comfortable it's time to dive!!! As a resort diver there will be a maximum of 4 divers with 1 instructor. The supervision is very close at all times. You will go to a maximum depth of 12 m (40ft) and these dives generally last around 1/2 hour.

During the dive you can expect to see the Great Barrier Reef in all its glory - You will discover excitement and adventure - freedom and serenity. Nothing compares to the "weightless" exhilaration of breathing underwater.

Day Three: Port Douglas day trip

Port Douglas is a spectacular 45 min drive north of Palm Cove along one of the most scenic coastal roads in Australia. Home to some of Tropical North Queensland’s most exclusive resorts, award winning restaurants, beautiful galleries and boutique shopping.  Port Douglas offers an enticing combination of sophistication and relaxed village life.

Macrossan Street is the central hub of this beautiful village. The vibrant and bustling tree-lined street offers world-class restaurants, bars, cafes, boutiques and galleries.  Four Mile Beach is located at the southern end of the street; meanwhile Anzac Park is located at the Inlet end of Macrossan Street where the weekly Sunday markets are held.
Once in the Port Douglas village you are free to enjoy from 2 hours to a full day exploring Four Mile Beach, lookouts and the boutique shopping, galleries, marina and award winning restaurants before your return journey. Please advise your preferred
